Visual Safety: Animations That Make Safety Training Fun
We know safety training doesn’t have to be boring. That’s why we created this captivating series of animations for a construction company, designed to make safety procedures and controls easier to understand—and a lot more fun! You can see a super cut of the video series above.
Our animations provide the employees with a flexible, on-demand tool that reinforces key safety concepts whenever they need it. These videos were developed with SMEs (subject matter experts) in key departments and contain the company’s specific language and training tools, aligning perfectly with the safety procedures employees are already familiar with.
The videos feature quirky and original 2D characters designs with vivid, vibrant colours that make the content pop, helping to keep employees engaged. Their bold shapes, exaggerated proportions, and expressive faces make them feel approachable and fun, helping lighten the tone of serious topics like workplace safety. Despite their fantastical elements, there’s an accuracy to them—detailed PPE (personal protective equipment) and exact machinery connect them directly to the real-life situations they represent.
In addition to being visually appealing, the animations bring ‘what-if’ scenarios to life, showing potential risks and what could happen if safety procedures aren’t followed. This approach lets employees visualize real-world consequences without any danger, offering a safe, controlled way to experience the impact of their actions. Our goal is to make safety training more engaging, boost information retention, and ultimately help create a safer workplace with fewer incidents.
