Tree Nut Cheeses
A short video ad for the delicious Sprout and Kernel (now Blue Mountains Creamery) vegan cheese.
The brief was for a moody, gothic, historical vibe that would match the new black charcoal cheese.
Our main reference came from the opening credits of the TV show Harlots, which animates collage-style drawings of sex workers in the 18th-century. We used a mix of techniques using stop-motion and digital animation. The actual cheese and packages were animated with stop motion on a small set with a green screen back ground. The rest of the imagery was sourced from stock images and digitally animated in After Effects.
